History

The Museum of the World Ocean is a fastest developing tourist complex of Kaliningrad. Museum’s exhibitions and area around it are rich in diverse fantastic items, interactive projects. All Museum’s exhibits are organized by applying the highest standards, they include various sea vessels of the Baltic Sea (submarine, vessel for space communication, the research vessel Vityaz, icebreaker) and even a helicopter! The Peter the Great Embankment, on which The Museum is located, is a favourite recreation area for the Kaliningradians themselves and has already become a tourist top spot of this city. Another significant point is that the Museum doesn't rest on laurels; it has a great number of ambitious projects that, by the time The 2014 FIFA World Cup is held, will raise it to a completely new level and will continue to delight Kaliningrad’s residents and visitors. How to get there

  1. The Museum’s address — 1 Peter the Great Embankment. This street can be reached from Pobedy Square by taking the trolley No. 7 that will get you to Moskovsky Prospekt. Get off the trolley just after the U-turn at the roundabout and walk to the end of Butkov Street.
